Experienced Remedy Consultants

KonnecT are currently looking to recruit two experienced BMC Remedy Consultants with specific knowledge of ITSM 7. Whilst these are permanent positions, applications from Contractors for short-term engagements will also be considered.

We are looking for two Consultants – one will be a senior role within the ITSM7/Remedy division and will be responsible for ensuring key targets are achieved yearly. The successful candidate will have ITSM7 skills complemented by previous experience in earlier versions of ARS. The second successful candidate will be of similar standing within the company but could be gaining certification in ITSM7.

As the successful candidate you will need to have experience in the following:

  • ITSM7 – BMC® Remedy® ARS / Change Management / Asset Management / Service Level Agreement
  • Foundation Certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Working knowledge of CMDB
  • Active participation in sales calls involving complex technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms where the ability to identify and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements is important
  • The ability to focus on large sales opportunities that require complex solutions or operating in heterogeneous hardware environments
  • Work with the sales representative with little supervision to define sales and technical strategies in dealing with the client
  • Collect business and technical information from clients regarding requirements and determine whether the Remedy solution can technically satisfy these requirements
  • Manage, support and monitor proof of concept trials for prospective clients
  • Provide demonstrations and presentations
  • Design and build customised demonstrations of BMC solutions for prospective clients possibly using pre-production and beta software. This may include software installation on a customer's site
  • Able to effectively articulate both the technical and business value propositions of BMC Software's Remedy solution set including ITIL
  • Essential skills profile includes several years experience in software development and design in Remedy. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail and good solid experience of IT application support and development including confident and effective client communication (both verbal and written)
  • Experience in one or more the following : SQL/Oracle scripting
  • Remedy Approved Consultant Certification (RAC) is desirable, although training will be given to the right candidate

These positions are important to the success of KonnecT Remedy team and this will be reflected in the remuneration package. Training will be provided to all successful candidates.
